Ke$ha cleans up nicely! On Tuesday, April 16, the "Die Young" singer ditched her glittered face paint, messy bedhead, and spangly leotards in favor of a more glamorous, grown-up look for the Calzedonia "Forever Together" fashion show in Rimini, Italy.
With her long blonde hair blown out in big, soft curls, the 26-year-old star was nearly unrecognizable. (Her dark roots were a giveaway.) Her makeup -- a sexy red lip with heavily lined eyes -- was bold but much less flashy than usual. Even her outfit was comparatively tame: Aside from a not-insignificant flash of sideboob through the lace panels on her backless black jumpsuit, Ke$ha cut a slim, elegant figure.
Not to worry, though -- the singer hasn't lost her edge completely. She recently finished filming on an upcoming MTV documentary series My Crazy Beautiful Life, about her antics and adventures over the last couple of years.
"There are things in the show that...I'm just, like, a little beside myself at the fact that I'm going to show the world," she tells Us Weekly of the series, which premieres April 23. "I'm showing it all. Like when I look terrible and when I'm having a real deal breakdown. But it's all kind of to support my message, which is to be yourself and love yourself. Perfect or not perfect."
"It's really like the craziest and most intense moments of my life you're going to see," she adds. "And you know, it's not just drama. There's also moments where we start a food fight with cauliflower and I accidentally hit a stranger in the eyeball with a piece of cauliflower. And there are jumping off of cliffs into the ocean and scuba diving with sharks...I wanted people to see all sides of my personality."
